DISCOVERY CLASSES   .... for New Players

Clawhammer Banjo, Hammered Dulcimer, and Mountain Dulcimer

Buckeye Roadshow (Joe, Chris and Shari) are gathering ideas as to how we can reach out to new players. 
We asked for and received so much input and support on this topic at our zoom jams.   THANKS TO ALL!

As a result, we are offering the concept of New Player/Beginner DISCOVERY CLASSES on mountain dulcimer, hammered
dulcimer, and clawhammer banjo.  If you have friends (or yourself) who have always wanted to
try one of these instruments, keep posted for future
DISCOVERY CLASSES.

Buckeye Roadshow plans to take this concept to other areas within the Buckeye Dulcimer Festival's reach.

Chris can tailor this event with your local community in mind including featured instruments and scheduling needs.
It is amazing the number of instruments that are under the bed or hanging on the wall that are begging to be played. 
With so many club memberships decreasing, this day could be a great way to spark interest.

Buckeye Roadshow's first Discovery Day (August, 2022) in Bucyrus, Ohio is in the history books.

There are now two new clawhammer banjo players, one new hammer dulcimer player and two new mountain dulcimer players.
The schedule included three hours of instruction, first jam, and then an evening jam.

If you've always wanted to play an instrument, this is your opportunity live and in person.
